This lively Integrated Arts programme will offer your child MiniArt for half the class and Eurhythmics which incorporates dance and creative movement with musical training for the other half. The themes will be designed to enhance the Arts experience through masks, puppets, singing, tactile projects and drawing & painting. Ages 3 - 5.

This innovative programme is now in it’s 4th year! Your child aged 3 to 5 years will have fun learning while they tackle hands-on projects. Their inspiration will come from literature and art history. Sessions build skills and provide creative opportunities for artwork in two and three dimensions.

Take a journey with us to fantastic, colourful places. Each week we will explore a different continent where imaginations will be sparked. Children will learn about the art of other cultures in order to appreciate global diversity. As well stories and guest artists will provide rich inspiration to your budding artists. Every week we will offer a variety of three dimensional projects to be created as well as ample drawing and painting. Materials

Once upon a Time Art

Something magical is happening at Artbarn this March Break. Imaginary worlds will come alive for your child with literary art inspirations. Each day a different classic storybook will be presented and the art will follow. Children will create princesses and castles, dragons and wizards in multi-media and painting. The week will culminate with a dress up celebration.

Fantastic Animals
1-3pm
JK to Grade 4
Fun, furry, spots and stripes - animals of all kinds will be the inspiration. Children will be planning and creating their own fantastic creature in paper mache. As well there will be plenty of painting and drawing to build skills. A different animal group will be presented each day - birds, reptiles, mammals, fish and insects.
